年中の英語：４月２２日

During the first part of the school year, we are working on two things at the same time. The first thing is beginning to understand the relationship between the letters of the alphabet, and the sounds that they make. We studied together some words that begin with the letters a, b, c, d, e, and f. When we touch our heads, we say the letters’ name. When we touch out shoulders. And then we do the action for each alphabet word.

This week we continued working on the animals that appear in our goodbye song. We did a little quiz with these animals. I really like the cute pictures. Maybe you can practice them at home with your kiddo.

Finally, we sang our goodbye song. Kids have only sung it twice, but are getting used to the motions of the song. If possible, please sing it at home!

Well, that’s all for this week. We won’t have a lesson, so instead I’ll share some of my favorite Sesame Street and Super Simple Songs videos:

１学期の最初は同時に二つのことを練習しています。まずは、こどもたちにアルファベットの文字と、その文字の発音の関連に気づいてもらいたいです。レッスンでは a, b, c, d, e, f の音とその音で始まる言葉も練習しました。

こちらはフォニックス クイズのビデオです。

今週は新しい「 Goodbye song 」で出てくる動物の名前も練習しました。クイズもしたり、ライアン先生は、動物が出てくるビデオがとても好きです。ギターを弾いているカンガルーは面白かったですか？

こどもたちも「 Goodbye song 」の動きも上手になり、だんだん歌も上手になってきています。時間があれば、ぜひ家で一緒に歌ってみませんか？

では、来週は昭和の日があるため、年中のレッスンがないです。その代わりに、ライアン先生が好きな Sesame Street と Super Simple Songs のビデオをシェアします。
